Wool is the first novel of a trilogy by Hugh Howey which is set in a post-apocalyptic world. It’s set in an underground silo whose inhabitants are presided over by arcane rules, resources are controlled as are the inhabitants place in society.
It is an amazing thriller with enough twists and turns to keep you up at night, characters you begin to care about and perceive as crucial to the plot are brutally dispatched by the author. It’s definitely a novel that makes you think. Well worth a read… bring on “Shift” and “Dust”
